Cracks In Your Vision

Cracks In Your Vision

Yesterday we took our RV to get the windshield replaced because of a crack.  Three months ago, it started as this little thing we didn't even notice, but our salesman pointed it out to us because he knew it was the right thing to do.  Between the drive to Omaha from Denver where we picked her up and the road trip to Florida from Nebraska, it spread along the glass.  Subtle, really, because you wouldn't notice the line unless it was pointed out to you.   That's the funny thing about cracks in your vision, you rarely see them taking shape...

Schadenfreude & Grace

Schadenfreude & Grace

Stories are important to me.  From working in a 911 Center to owning my own business, I gained insight into the lives of those who trusted me.  I've learned not to judge someone by the way they look, not condemn for actions under duress, but instead to try to show compassion and grace. Life Is A Gameshow

My life is a game show.  Truly, it is.  When you are surrounded by so many different moving parts that affect every single area, the chaos can become so out of your control like watching the ball drop on the gameshow, The Wall.  You just have to trust it.  But seriously, trust it?  How? You could walk away with nothing in the end.  NOTHING – so what’s the point of playing? The point is that you are choosing to get into the game in the first place.  You are choosing to try something so different and unique.  You are choosing...

The Lesson In The Story

The Lesson In The Story

I have absolutely no doubt people are placed into our lives to give us a different perspective or meaning on who we are or maybe who we thought we were.  Some will teach us a lesson we are afraid of learning while others will make us take note of a simple thought and find a solution when we are not sure what to do next.    One of the greatest pieces of advice I learned was from my first landlord, Mike Hogan.  As a pillar in our community, some got along with him while others didn’t and he was certainly...
